Prattville Farmers Market

It’s time for fresh fruit and vegetables grown locally right here in the River Region! The Grand Opening of the Prattville/Autauga Farmers Market is Saturday, June 1, from 7:00am to 12 noon.

In addition to our fresh, locally-grown produce, our Grand Opening will feature Prattville’s own award-winning and nationally recognized author of Southern Bite cookbook and food blog, Stacey Little, creating delicious dishes with produce from our market. There will be live music with local singer/songwriter Madeline Mae, a live remote with Bama Country Radio, special giveaways and lots more fun!

The market will open on Saturday, June 1, and will run every Saturday through August 31. Throughout the season, we will have locally grown fruits and vegetables, local honey, homemade baked goods, farm raised beef, plants, handmade bath and body products, and more.

Each week students from Auburn University’s Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Hospitality Management will prepare dishes with items from the farmers market and will provide recipes and nutritional information.

There will be live music, artists, guest speakers, contests, and special giveaways throughout the season.
