Sound of Freedom Foundation Seeking Donations

June 27, 2025 - While open borders and lax border security might facilitate the flow of commerce, they also facilitate another type of trade, that of human trafficking. And the reports are that 300,000 unaccompanied migrant children are missing and unaccounted for under the supposed "supervision" of U.S. immigration authorities. As while in 2008 there were but 8,000 cases of unaccompanied minors crossing the border into the USA, those numbers have since escalated. With 2022 featuring 149,000 solo minors seeking greener pastures in the USA.

Tragically, under President Biden's administration, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services handed off many of these missing migrant children to several "sponsors" who had not been properly vetted, if vetted at all. And the concerns are that the children have fallen victim to human trafficking and other parallel tragedies. As a result, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has stated that the Department of Health and Human Services will no longer be a hub for human trafficking. And the producer of the 2023 movie, "Sound of Freedom", Eduardo Verastegui, is seeking donations for the Sound of Freedom Foundation to help rescue such children from human trafficking.

"Sound of Freedom" is a feature film that focuses on the true story of Miguel and Rocio Aguilar, a brother and sister duo, who were stolen by human traffickers. With the plot of "Sound of Freedom" focusing on the daring and miraculous rescue of the Aguilar siblings from a lifetime of such slavery by a former federal agent portrayed by "The Passion of the Christ" actor, Jim Caviezel. The PG-13 movie brought awareness to the global issue of human trafficking and the ease with which young children can be lured into a field that works against them at every turn.

At present, the Sound of Freedom Foundation is seeking donations to help fund their rescue operations, help provide the care survivors of human trafficking need to recover and thrive, and help strengthen their efforts to prevent human trafficking from taking place to begin with. Those wishing to donate to their cause can do so at https://soundoffreedomfoundation.org
