"No Kings" rallies planned across Alabama on Trump's birthday

June 13, 2025 – President Donald J. Trump (R) will turn 79 on Saturday. To announce their displeasure with the President and to protest raids by federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers on illegal aliens protest rallies are being held across the country – including here in Alabama.

There are anti-Trump rallies planned for Huntsville, Mobile, Birmingham, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Dothan, Auburn, Guntersville, Scottsboro, Jacksonville, Dadeville, and Selma.

The group organizing this nationwide "NO KINGS National day of defiance" is Indivisible, a shadowy group operating as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, allowing it to engage in political activities and advocacy without being classified as a political action committee (PAC).

The group is funded by:

George Soros who contributed of $7.26 million to the organization.

The Tides Foundation.

Reid Hoffman: A tech entrepreneur known for his support of far left activist groups.

Patricia Bauman: A real estate heiress.

Herbert Sandler: A mortgage billionaire.

The group is objecting to the military parade in Washington, D.C. celebrating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.

"This country doesn't belong to a king - and we're not letting him throw himself a parade funded by tens of millions of our taxpayer dollars while stealing from us and stripping away our rights, our freedoms, and the programs our families rely on," the group said in a statement. "On June 14th, we're coming together to send one clear message: No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings."
