July 29, 2025 - MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall's campaign for U.S. Senate has received a major boost with a wave of endorsements from law enforcement officials and district attorneys across the state. The show of support underscores Marshall's deep ties to Alabama's legal community and his reputation as a tough-on-crime prosecutor with a record of conservative leadership.
Marshall, who launched his Senate bid in late May following Senator Tommy Tuberville's decision to run for governor, has positioned himself as a staunch ally of law enforcement and a defender of traditional values. His campaign has emphasized border security, opposition to federal overreach, and support for President Donald Trump's America First agenda.
"As Attorney General, it's been an honor to fight alongside President Trump and champion policies that protect Alabama families," Marshall said in a recent statement. "These endorsements reflect the trust law enforcement has placed in me to continue that fight in Washington."
Endorsements from Across the State
While the full list of endorsers has not yet been published, Marshall's campaign has confirmed backing from multiple sheriffs, police chiefs, and district attorneys representing both urban and rural jurisdictions. These endorsements are expected to play a key role in mobilizing conservative voters, especially in regions where public safety remains a top concern.
Marshall previously served as district attorney for Marshall County for 16 years before being appointed Attorney General in 2017. His prosecutorial background and advocacy for law enforcement initiatives - including Alabama's adoption of nitrogen gas as an execution method - have earned him strong support among legal professionals.
Campaign Momentum Builds
Marshall's campaign reported raising over $406,000 in its first month, with the majority coming from individual donors. He enters the race as one of the leading Republican contenders for the open Senate seat, alongside former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson and several other potential candidates.
With endorsements from law enforcement officials now rolling in, Marshall is expected to consolidate support among voters who prioritize crime prevention, judicial integrity, and conservative values.
