August 7, 2025 – WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) celebrated the accomplishments of his friend and political mentor President Donald J. Trump (R) in the first 200 days of his second term.
"Here's what 200 days of WINNING looks like:" Tuberville said on his X social media account.
"– Securing the border.
– Kicking men OUT of women's sports.
– Permanently extending the largest middle-class tax cut in history.
– Unleashing American energy production.
– Bringing American manufacturing back.
– Launching the GOLDEN AGE of our economy.
Promises made, promises kept. MAGA 🇺🇸."
Tuberville has already told Fox News' Larry Kudlow that Trump deserved an A+ for his first 100 days in office.
"A+. What else can he do, Larry? They left it in a total mess," Tuberville told Kudlow. "President Trump has got foreign wars, he's got deportations, the border, tax cuts. He's trying to save the economy. What a total disaster the Democrats created."
President Trump has promoted this as "200 Days of Winning."
The administration branded the milestone as a celebration of rapid policy implementation and economic recovery.
"We have a country that is the hottest country right now anywhere in the world," said President Trump referencing a turnaround from what he described as a troubled state under the previous administration.
Trump touted the strength of the economy and the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which made his 2017 tax cuts permanent. It also added new deductions for tips, overtime pay, and Social Security. He also touted his signature of executive orders to expand retirement investment options and protect Americans from politically motivated banking restrictions.
In the areas of foreign policy and security: Trump highlighted eight new trade deals and a major military operation-Operation Midnight Hammer-targeting Iranian nuclear sites. He also claimed success in securing increased NATO defense spending and reinforced border security measures.
Trump also credited his administration for resuming border wall construction after four years of inaction by the Biden administration. Trump also launched the Department of Government Efficiency, and has begun dismantling dubious federal agencies like USAID and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Trump also emphasized his efforts to "end woke culture" and slash federal regulations at a 10-to-1 ratio, surpassing even his first term's pace.
White House officials and press secretary Karoline Leavitt echoed these sentiments, stating that Trump had delivered on "every single major campaign promise" and ushered in what they called the "Golden Age of America".
"The secret to President Trump's success is simple-he actually kept his word to the American people," Leavitt told the Daily Mail. "He delivered on every single major campaign promise, from securing the border to defeating Biden's inflation crisis. Thanks to President Trump's relentless efforts and record-breaking achievements, the Golden Age of America is officially upon us."
Tuberville is leaving the Senate to pursue the Alabama Governor's mansion in 2026. Tuberville faces one GOP opponent in Ken McFeeters. Presently, two Democrats: Chad "Chig" Martin and Rev. Will Boyd, are pursuing the Democratic Party nomination for Governor. To this point Tuberville has outraised all of his gubernatorial opponents 250 to 1.
