Operation ReConnect

Operation ReConnect is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded, operated and managed by current and former service-members with one simplistic Mission: “To provide the ‘GIFT OF TIME’ to the men, women and their families who have dealt with the difficulties from an overseas Combat Deployment.” The mission is executed by providing Post 9/11 combat veterans and their families with a full seven nights of uninterrupted time together in a resort environment typically located in coastal Alabama or northwest Florida.

Operation ReConnect was founded by Ryan Charrier in 2014 while on his first deployment to Afghanistan with the U.S. Air Force. Over the last decade, Operation ReConnect has been able to serve more than 1500 combat veterans and their families. The success of the organization is deeply rooted in “We the People” doing what it has with what it has. Further information can be found online at: https://www.operationreconnect.org. There is an annual fundraising with a vehicle giveaway as its main fundraising efforts. Thus far, eight fully-customized vehicles supporting Operation ReConnect have been given away.
