EUFAULA, AL. - From October 10–12, 2025, Lakepoint State Park will host its annual Alligator Awareness Weekend, a one-of-a-kind event that blends wildlife education, outdoor adventure, and Southern hospitality. Nestled along the shores of Lake Eufaula, the park offers the perfect backdrop for learning about one of Alabama's most iconic and misunderstood creatures: the American alligator.

📋 Policies and Check-In Details
To ensure a smooth experience, guests should note the following:
• Cancellation Policy: Lodge room cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to arrival to avoid charges (minus a $5.25 resort fee). Late cancellations will result in a charge for one night's stay plus tax.
• Reservation Deposit: A 50% deposit of the total balance (including taxes) is required at booking. The remaining balance is due at check-in.
• Authorization Fee: A $100 authorization will be applied at check-in.
• Check-In Time: 4:00 PM CST
• Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM CST
