Elsa is the Pet of the Week

The Elmore County Humane Society is promoting Elsa as their adoptable pet of the week. Elsa is a seven-year old female yellow Lab. She weighs only about 50 lbs. Handlers describe her as an incredibly sweet gal whose owner was unable to properly care for her anymore. She is great with other dogs and cats, and they know she would love children to call her own. They are unsure if she is housetrained but believe that she will figure that out almost immediately given the chance. Elsa would love nothing more that being with a family that includes her in all their activities and she would adore being inside, hogging her part of your couch.

The adoption fees are only $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
