October 7, 2025 - BIRMINGHAM, AL. - Katherine Robertson, a Republican candidate for Alabama Attorney General, announced Monday that she has received the endorsement of Limestone County Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin, adding to a growing list of law enforcement leaders backing her campaign.
Sheriff McLaughlin praised Robertson's longstanding commitment to public safety and her leadership on issues critical to law enforcement.
"Katherine Robertson is my choice for Attorney General," McLaughlin stated. "As sheriff, I need an attorney general who is willing to listen and willing to lead. Katherine has proven time and again that she is unafraid to lead on the issues that matter most to the law enforcement community. She is well-prepared to take the reins, and I am proud to endorse her as our next AG."

The reason they are supporting me in this race is because they've seen my work and they've seen my record. They know I'm their girl."
