The people's voice of reason

MCSO Mobile App

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has launched an app called “MCSO Mobile”. You can install the app on your phone directly from your app store. It is compatible with apple or android phones. This new innovation will give you “breaking news” as news happens in and around the community. You can also check to see if someone is in the County Jail, has an active warrant or if someone is a registered sex offender. You get all the latest and greatest news from the Sheriff’s Office!

Community Meetings

Don’t forget if you or your neighborhood is hosting Community Meeting i.e., Neighborhood Watch Meetings, please call and let our agency know so that we can post your event on our website: Please call 832.1339 to give Lisa this information to post.

We are also in the process of enrolling people on our ‘Community Notification System’ with this we are requesting phone, cell or home numbers and addresses. This system will allow us to send text and voice messages to you when there are emergency situations such as “truck turned over blocking roadway”, “escapees from jail/prison” or any hazardous or life threatening event that might take place close to your neighborhood or community. Please contact our Support Services Division for more information and to sign up for ‘Community Notification System’ at 334-832.2515.
