The people's voice of reason
On April 8, 2016, Sheriff Sedinger participated in a Baby Shower of a different type to promote donations to the River Region Pregnancy Center.
The Baby Shower, in Honor of Sheriff Joe Sedinger, was hosted by Judge Joy Booth, Kathy Evans, Kim Kervin, Kelly Lee, Desirae Lewis, Jessica Sanders & Hailey Crowe.
A Sheriff themed cake and punch was served to all that attended. Sheriff Sedinger even tried pickles and ice cream, which was not his favorite.
It was all in fun and the truck load of donations received were donated to the River Region Pregnancy Center.
Many donations were made in Memory of Sgt. Troy Seamon.

In Memory of Sgt. William Troy Seamon
William Troy Seamon started his tenure with the Autauga County Sheriff's Office as a Reserve Deputy in November 1995. Troy (as he preferred to be called) paid his way through the Reserve Academy to receive his APOST Certification and was hired as a Deputy Sheriff in July 1998. Troy worked in Patrol until he took over the Sex Offender Registration and Notifications in late 2005, and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in April 2011.
Sgt. Seamon passed away unexpectedly April 4, 2016. He has been an intricate part of the Sheriff's Office for the last 18 years and he is missed greatly. He was not just our co-worker but our Brother and Friend. Go rest high on that mountain now, we will take over the watch from here. Gone but Never Forgotten!
