Faulkner University will host a Dedication Ceremony for its Mobile Campus on April 23

Faulkner University will host a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony on April 23, 2024 of its Mobile Campus. The Mobile Campus is one of three Faulkner University's extension campuses. The Mobile Campus will be named the Lamar Allen and Marceil Harrison Campus of Faulkner University.

Lamar and Marceil Harrison leased the property for the Mobile Campus to Faulkner. They later donated the property and building to for Faulkner. The multi-million-dollar property was officially donated in June of 2018 to Faulkner and has been used as Faulkner's campus in Mobile for more than 20 years.

Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson, members of the City of Mobile Chamber of Commerce, Faulkner University leadership, members of the Harrison, Eubanks and May families including Lamar and Marceil Harrison's daughters, Tanya Eubanks and Leisha May and the ambassadors of Mobile, the Azalea Trail Maids are expected to be in attendance at the event.

Faulkner University Mobile is located at 3943 Airport Blvd. in Mobile, Alabama at 4:00 p.m. on April 23, 2024.

On April 4, Faulkner students, faculty, and administrators celebrated Founders' Day to commemorate the 82nd year of the founding of Faulkner University. Members of the three founding families were invited to be special guests at a unique celebratory Chapel service at 10:30 AM.
