Palmer says that we are facing the real possibility of a third world war

On Saturday, the U.S. House of Representatives voted on the Israel, Ukraine, and Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental Appropriations Acts and the 21st Century Peace Through Strength Acts. Following the votes Congressman Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) released a statement claiming that President Joesph R. Biden (D) has shown weakness and that that has endangered America and its allies.

"Because of the weakness displayed by President Biden, our nation and our allies around the globe are in grave danger," Rep. Palmer said in a statement. "This administration's weakness and uncertainty in foreign policy has emboldened and encouraged a festering axis of evil in Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific. In just over three years, the Biden Administration has upended the world order to the degree that we are now facing the real possibility of a third world war."

"Not only that, because they intentionally opened our borders, the Biden Administration has left our country vulnerable to attacks from within that could result in devastating death and destruction," said Palmer. "Already, there are families all across America grieving the deaths of their loved ones either from fentanyl poisoning or murdered at the hands of an illegal alien let in by the Biden Administration."

Palmer went so far as to suggest that the Russian invasion of Ukraine would not have happened if we had re-elected Donald J. Trump (R) in 2020.

"Had Biden not been elected, I am convinced Russia would not have invaded Ukraine," Palmer continued. "Hamas would not have attacked and slaughtered Israeli citizens, and China would not be mobilizing against Taiwan and our allies in the Pacific."

Palmer also blamed President Biden for rising prices.

"Had Biden not been elected, Americans could afford their groceries, gas for their vehicles, and household utilities," claimed Palmer. "Our borders would be secure, our foreign policy would be strong, and I am certain and these bills would not have been necessary."

The U.S. vote to send aid to Ukraine came after CIA Directo Bill Burns warned this week that Ukraine will lose the war by year's end without additional support from the U.S. The aid to Israel comes after Iran launched hundreds of drones, missiles, and cruise missiles at the country a week ago and Israel retaliated with air strikes on Iran raising fears of a wider Middle East war.

Palmer is serving in his fourth term representing Alabama's Sixth Congressional District.
