The people's voice of reason

Tuberville says that we have let in 10 million illegal aliens in the last 3 years

The U.S. House of Representatives voted to bring articles of impeachment against U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas. Everybody understood then that the would never receive 60 votes to convict Mayorkas, but Senate Democrats rejected the charges on Wednesday without holding a trial. U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) spoke on the floor to chastise all 51 Democrats for voting to block the impeachment trial of U.S. Mayorkas.

"I'm kind of amazed at what's happened today," said Sen. Tuberville on the Senate floor. "It's been categorized several ways, whether it's kangaroo court, a three-ring circus or organized grabass. I don't know how you look at it to be honest with you. It is amazing what we've sat here and watched."

"We all thought that last few weeks that there was a chance for an impeachment trial of Secretary Mayorkas, but it only lasted a few hours," continued Tuberville. "Has he faithfully executed his duties of the United States Constitution? One that we all put our hand on the Bible and swore to do. But it was amazing to me how this all went down at the end of the day."

"We've let in 10 million illegal aliens in the last three years," continued Sen. Tuberville. "And on that data point alone, Secretary Mayorkas intentionally failed to secure the border."

"It's clear that [this] administration [is] more concerned with taking care of these illegals than they are about protecting citizens," Tuberville stated. "So, I will ask again, has Secretary Mayorkas fulfilled his oath of duty before this body to protect and defend the country against all threats foreign and domestic? Is our border secure? The answer is simple. He has not and it is not."

Tuberville has made enhancements to border security a priority since he was elected to the Senate in 2020, but most of those efforts have been thwarted by De

As long as Joseph R. Biden (D) is president and his party controls at lease House of Congress it appears likely that waves of poor immigrants from around the world are going to continue coming to this country.

"This is not a border crisis. It's turned into a huge invasion," Tuberville added. "It's a national security problem, and we're having it more and more each day."

"Our border is the least secure it has ever been," Tuberville said before the vote. "In fact, it's almost nonexistent. Our border patrol agents are so overwhelmed and receive such little support from the Biden administration to enforce our laws, that they have been forced to release millions of illegal immigrants into the United States. And those who are released on parole are given work permits. The Biden administration is more concerned with taking care of illegal aliens than they are about protecting American citizens. We might as well start mailing every criminal, drug trafficker, and terrorist an open invitation to cross our borders."

Tommy Tuberville was elected to the Senate in 2020, defeating incumbent Senator Doug Jones (D-Alabama) in the general election.
