The free event is expected to draw thousands so get there early for the best seats.
Jamies Reeves is the conductor of the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra.
"Being Memorial Day Weekend, we like to kick it off with a patriotic selection," Reeves told the Montgomery Advertiser's Shannon Heupel. "Some Sousa Marches and other patriotic songs that people would be very familiar with, 'America the Beautiful' and 'Battle Hymn of the Republic.' We'll do a salute to our veterans and service members. And then we have a mixture of American pop music ranging from Frank Sinatra to music by John Williams."
60 musicians are expected to participate.
Reeves has earned degrees in conducting from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music and the Johns Hopkins University Peabody Conservatory,
