On Sunday, the University of Alabama softball team defeated the Tennessee 4 to 1 in the third and decisive game of the super-regional series.

The win means that Alabama will be heading to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.
Patrick Murphy is the head coach of the Alabama softball team.
"We're heading to our 15th Women's College World Series," said Murphy. "I said last year was my most gratifying year but I have to say it again this year. I could not be happier for our team, the University and our athletic department."
Tennessee defeated Alabama on Friday but lost on Saturday setting up the decisive third game on Sunday in the Knoxville Super Regional round.
Alabama will play UCLA at 11:00 a.m. CDT Thursday on ESPN.
Sunday's win improves Alabama's record to 38 and 18.
This is Alabama's 15th trip to the college world series. Alabama won the NCAA softball world series in 2012.
