Cindy Myrex Officially Qualifies for Alabama State House District 12 Race

May 13, 2025 - CULLMAN, AL - Cindy Myrex, a lifelong Cullman County resident and respected community advocate, has officially qualified on Monday with the Alabama Republican Party to run for the Alabama House of Representatives in District 12.

"I love our hometown and the people in it," said Myrex. "I'm running because I believe it's time we had a strong, local voice down in Montgomery who truly understands what matters most to folks around here-faith, family, and good, honest work."

With deep roots in District 12, Myrex brings decades of experience as a businesswoman and grassroots conservative. Her campaign will focus on strengthening small businesses, defending parental rights, and protecting the conservative values that define Cullman County.

In addition to her business and community involvement, Myrex has been a committed conservative activist. She recently served as a Trump Alternate Delegate at the 2024 Republican National Convention, participated in the Alabama Strike Force's grassroots efforts in Georgia, and was elected to the State Executive Committee for Cullman County.

"My door is always open, and I'll never forget who I'm working for," she added. "I'll take our common sense and strong convictions with me every step of the way."

As the campaign moves forward, Myrex plans to connect directly with voters across the district, listening to their concerns and sharing her vision for a stronger, more principled Alabama.

The Republican Primary for House District 12 is scheduled for July 15, 2025.
