June 17, 2025 – MONTGOMERY, AL – Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall is running for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senator. To help launch his campaign Marshall has named Logan Glass of Chandler Mountain in St. Clair County as the State Director for his Senate campaign.
Logan is the outgoing Chairman of the St. Clair County Young Republicans, a member of the Alabama Republican State Executive Committee, and a former Vice Chairman of the St. Clair County Republican Party. Glass represented Alabama at the 2024 Republican National Convention where he was one of the youngest delegates.
Glass is a licensed insurance agent, who has worked on both the property and casualty side of the business as well as the life and health sector. He is the former Chief of Staff of Jefferson County Tax Collector Johnnie Curry (R). Glass has previously worked on campaigns for Curry, Governor Kay Ivey, Senator Katie Britt, and State Senator Tom Butler.
"I am incredibly excited to announce that I have been hired to serve as the Political Director for Attorney General Steve Marshall's campaign for the U.S. Senate!" Glass said in a statement on Facebook. "I have had the privilege of knowing Steve for over five years now and I could not be more honored to be a part of Team Marshall."
"Steve has committed his life and career to defending the rights of Alabamians and upholding the rule of law," Glass continued. "First as District Attorney of Marshall County, then as Alabama's Attorney General, and he will continue to do so as our next U.S. Senator. Steve is a true conservative who will stand strong with President Trump, fight back against the radical left, and he will always put Alabama values first. Steve will never let us down and he is someone that I know we can trust to carry our collective voices forward in Washington!"
Marshall faced former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate. There are other rumored or possible candidates for U.S. Senate. Incumbent Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) is not seeking reelection, because he is running for Governor of Alabama.
The Republican primary is May 1, 20269.
