Two identical twins who hail from Chicago, Camille and Kennerle Kitt, who have been featured on the PBS Special, "Celtic Heart", playing the harp along with the the original violinist from the Irish music powerhouse, "Celtic Woman", are celebrating the release of their new album, "Ice Storm". This album features their collaboration with another set of identical twins, the Volfgang Twins, who focus on the drums. Camille and Kennerle, who are commonly known as "The Harp Twins" are both classically trained musicians who studied at Wheaton College in Illinois, a private evangelical Christian liberal arts college in Wheaton, Illinois. But, in their performing career, The Harp Twins focus on their arrangements of popular music, specifically Celtic Rock.
The Harp Twins are of Swedish and Norwegian descent but are also proud members of the Daughters of the American Revolution, commonly known as the DAR. They represented their home state of Illinois as delegates to the 134th annual convention of the DAR which goes by the name of the Continental Congress in June of this year. During the DAR's 134th Continental Congress, Camille and Kennerly Kitt also played the harp for the President - General.
While The Harp Twins delight audiences with their music, being in the public eye has its drawbacks. And they've been subjected to long-term stalkers. Five days ago, however, they received good news that one of their long-term stalkers was arrested and put in jail on a felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge, unrelated to them. They don't like to publicize their experiences with homeless derelict long-term stalkers that they've experienced over the years. But, upon receiving the news of the arrest of this long-term stalker, they could not resist sharing the good news with their fans.
The Harp Twins just completed some performances at Dokidokon in Kalamazoo, Michigan over the weekend in collaboration with the Volfgang Twins. With their next show set for July 31st, 2025 in Ashland, Ohio. Which will be a free show in collaboration with the Volfgang Twins, as well. Aside from their lovely music, The Harp Twins also delight their fans with a daily pun featuring "Kennerly's Joke of the Day".
