September 10, 2025 - HUNTSVILLE, AL - State Representative Phillip Rigsby announced today his intention to seek reelection to the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 25. A lifelong resident of North Alabama and a dedicated public servant, Rigsby pledged to continue fighting for conservative values, strong families, safer communities, and a more prosperous Alabama.
"It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve the people of District 25," said Rigsby. "Together, we've made great progress, but there is still more work to do. I'm running for reelection because I believe in the future of our state, and I'm committed to continuing the fight for better roads, strong schools, lower taxes, a secure border and unwavering support for our military, first responders, veterans, and working families."
Since first being elected, Rigsby has built a strong record of service, supporting legislation that strengthens public safety, improves healthcare access, protects parental rights, and encourages economic growth in North Alabama. He has also been a strong voice for responsible budgeting and transparent government. Recently was chosen the Vice Chair of the PTSD on the First Responders Joint Interim Study Commission and the Co-Chair of the Rural Roadmap Initiative Subcommittee on Rural Healthcare.
In addition to his legislative service, Rigsby is a pharmacist, small business owner, elder in his church and volunteer fire department chaplain. He and his wife Pamela have been married
since 1998 and are the proud parents of two adult sons. "As I seek to continue serving, I remain grounded in my faith, guided by my convictions, and committed to the people I represent," Rigsby said. "I ask for your prayers, your support, and your vote."
