INCORPORATION FACTS:
The community must have 300 people to incorporate with residences being contiguous.
A petition signed by at least 15% of qualified electors within the proposed municipality must be submitted to the county probate judge as the official application.
No territory can be included unless at least four qualified electors reside on each 40-acre tract and sign the petition in support of incorporation.
The probate judge must order an election within 90 days of approving the petition.
After incorporation, property owners can request to be annexed into the town.
