Nicole Jones Wadsworth Launches First Statewide Ad Buy in Alabama Lieutenant Governor Race

MONTGOMERY, AL - October 28, 2025 - Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Alabama, Dr. Nicole Jones Wadsworth, has officially launched her first major statewide advertising campaign, marking a significant milestone in the 2026 election cycle. The ad, titled "Alabama First," began airing this week across television and digital platforms, introducing voters to Wadsworth's personal and professional background while outlining her vision for the state.

The ad positions Wadsworth as a conservative outsider with deep roots in Alabama and a track record in business and economic development. Described as a wife, mother, and job creator, Wadsworth emphasizes her commitment to faith, family, and fiscal responsibility-values she says are central to her campaign.

"As a business owner, I've created jobs and balanced budgets. As a conservative, I've defended faith, family, and freedom," Wadsworth says in the ad. "As a political outsider, I'm ready to kick down the doors of the Montgomery swamp and fight for you. Career politicians won't save Alabama, but I will."

The ad draws a clear contrast between Wadsworth and longtime political figures in Montgomery, echoing themes popularized by President Donald Trump's "drain the swamp" rhetoric. Wadsworth pledges to challenge entrenched interests and restore accountability in state government.

Her campaign message focuses on economic opportunity, workforce retention, and protecting traditional values. "Together we can build a future where our kids don't have to leave home to find good jobs, where businesses thrive, and where our values are protected," she says.

The ad buy signals a ramp-up in campaign activity as candidates begin to stake out their platforms ahead of the 2026 Republican primary. Wadsworth's team has not disclosed the total spend, but confirmed that the ad will run in all major media markets across Alabama.

Dr. Wadsworth faces a crowded Lt. Governor field that includes Ag. Commissioner Rick Pate, former Quarterback A. J. McCarron, Secretary of State Wes Allen, and Brad Childress.

The Republican primary is May 19, 2026.
