Vestavia Veterans Day Event

Monday, November 10, 2025 - VESTAVIA Hills – The City of Vestavia Hills will hold their annual Veterans Day Event at the VH Civic Center: 1090 Montgomery Highway • Vestavia Hills, AL 35216.

Everyone is welcome to an exciting afternoon of celebration, community, and gratitude at the annual Salute to Veterans Day Celebration! This family-friendly event will take place in the Ballroom at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center and offers something for everyone to enjoy.

Festivities begin at 12pm with a Veterans Day–themed Senior Luncheon, open to all individuals aged 55 and older. Seating is limited, so be sure to RSVP by November 5 by calling 205.978.0166.

From 1-5pm, explore the Health & Resources Fair, featuring helpful information, services, and support for veterans and their families-plus plenty of opportunities for community members to learn more about how to get involved.

At 2pm, join Mayor Ashley Curry for a moving patriotic program honoring veterans from every branch of service. The program will feature guest speaker Commissioner Jeff Newton of the Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs.

Whether you're a veteran, a family member, or simply someone who wants to show support and appreciation, this is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate those who have served our country.
