The people's voice of reason

KEN McFEETERS "TAKES IT TO THE PEOPLE" WITH CREATIVE, GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGNING

TUSCALOOSA, AL – Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken McFeeters is taking an unconventional and energetic approach to reaching Alabama voters-by literally cycling his message directly to them.

With no special-interest groups writing six-figure checks and without the name recognition of his opponent, McFeeters says the solution is simple: go to the people themselves. On Saturday, before the Alabama vs. Eastern Illinois football game, McFeeters rode across the University of Alabama campus towing a campaign billboard behind his bicycle, engaging with tens of thousands of voters in a fun, creative, and memorable way.

The only way to get your message out is to take it to the people," McFeeters said. "And what better and more fun way than on a beautiful day in Tuscaloosa, before an Alabama football game, surrounded by hardworking Alabamians?"

Despite acknowledging the uphill battle against an extremely well-funded opponent like Tommy Tuberville, McFeeters remains undeterred.

"I don't care about the odds," McFeeters said. "I'm telling the truth, and I'm having fun. I want the people to look into my eyes, look into my heart, and look into my soul so they can see I'm sincere. The people have forgotten it, but they hold the power-not the special interests. That's why I'm going straight to them."

McFeeters has openly criticized Tuberville's unprecedented fundraising, saying, "Tuberville has raised more money than any politician in Alabama history-and no one raises that kind of money by putting the people first. They raise it by serving the donors and the interests behind the curtain."

McFeeters' campaign centers on restoring power to local communities, strengthening food independence, rethinking healthcare, and overhauling Alabama's education system to focus on virtues-principles he calls the foundation of a successful and fulfilling life.

"The greatest minds in history have credited virtues as the key to a happy and successful life," McFeeters said. "Yet our schools don't teach them. Why not? That's going to change."
