"Patriots in the Park" Event At Disneyland Planned for February

A conservative group based out of Central California known as the 805 Patriots, due to the area code for their region being "805", is organizing an event termed, "Patriots in the Park" on February 28th, 2026. The event is to encourage likeminded MAGA supporters who want a "return to American roots and classic values" to spend a day in Disneyland in Anaheim California to "Make Disney Great Again".

Founded by Charles DiMauro during the covid-era lockdowns, 805 Patriots, is a conservative group that staunchly supports President Donald J. Trump. The 805 Patriots normally plan flag runs across the United States called "Caravans for Freedom". However, this "Patriots in the Park" event is drawing national attention to the group because the date for the "Patriots in the Park" event coincides with a "Mini Gay Days" event planned at Disneyland on the same day. The organizers of the "Patriots in the Park" event have stated that they were unaware of the other event taking place on February 28th, 2026 when they planned their "Patriots in the Park" event. Yet, they remain undeterred in planning their "Patriots in the Park" event. An event they are hoping will be a "peaceful, family-oriented meetup" to "support our president and Great Nation".

While the 805 Patriots group is encouraging those participating in their "Patriots in the Park" event to wear red MAGA hats and blue "Make Disney Great Again" t-shirts, the Disneyland theme park does reserve the right to deny entry to people wearing attire they deem inappropriate. The "Patriots in the Park" event is not an official Disneyland resort event, but it an unaffiliated and unofficial event planned at Disneyland along the lines of Bats Days and the MiceChat Gumball Rally. The 805 Patriots are promoting their "Patriots in the Park" event in an effort to have "a patriotic day of fun, freedom, and family values".
