On Sunday, February 08th, 2026, the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots will face off at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California for the Super Bowl LX. For those who need a refresher on their high school Latin, that's the 60th Super Bowl in Roman numerals wherein the top two teams of the National Football League vie for the title of champion. While normally heralded as one of the most unifying events in American popular culture, in recent years, the Super Bowl halftime show has become a divisive point of contention. With the controversy peaking this year with the Puerto Rican rapper known as "Bad Bunny" set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show.
The reason Bad Bunny is such a source of contention is due to his support of GLBTQIA+ issues and his public habit of cross dressing and wearing high heels alongside pink summer dresses. While he grew up singing in the Catholic Church choir until he was 13, at present he describes himself as heterosexual, but "gender fluid". With Bad Bunny having kissed a male dancer during his performance of "Tití Me Preguntó" for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
As a result of such a performer set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show, Turning Point USA is offering an alternative known as "The All-American Halftime Show". A show that is being billed as "a celebration of faith, family, and freedom". The featured performers for The All-American Halftime Show are Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. And the show will be made available to the public via streaming on Turning Point USA's YouTube, X. and Rumble Channels. It will also air on regular television on Dialy Wire+, Real America's Voice, TBN, and OAN.
There is some controversy over the choice of performers for The All-American Halftime Show as Bad Bunny will be performing a primarily Spanish-language performance for the Super Bowl halftime show, while the performers for The All-American Halftime Show are all Caucasian. This may be an oversight on the part of Turning Point USA as there are American Contemporary Christian music artists of Hispanic heritage such as Jaci Velasquez. But, for now, conscientious viewers are urged to flip the channel during the Super Bowl halftime show and celebrate the red, white, and blue, during The All-American Halftime Show. A show which will air at approximately 7 o'clock PM Central Time.
