MONTGOMERY, Ala. — March 13, 2026 — Huey Magoo’s, the fast‑casual chicken brand known for its bold flavors and premium hand‑crafted tenders, has officially opened its newest restaurant in Montgomery, marking the company’s 87th location nationwide and its latest expansion into Alabama’s growing food scene.
The new 2,400‑square‑foot restaurant, located at 2930 Carter Hill Road, brings Huey Magoo’s full menu of fresh, made‑to‑order chicken tenders, house‑made sauces, and customizable meals to the heart of the capital city. The brand’s signature tenders are made from the top 3 percent of the chicken—the tenderloin—and are served hand‑breaded, 24‑hour marinated and grilled, or “sauced” and tossed in flavors such as buffalo, sweet red chili, lemon pepper, and garlic parmesan.
A Restaurant Built for Convenience and Community
The Montgomery location offers multiple ways for guests to enjoy their meals, including dine‑in, outdoor seating, takeout, a pickup window, catering, and online ordering through the Huey Magoo’s mobile app and website. Delivery through DoorDash and Uber Eats will be available approximately 45 days after opening.
The restaurant is owned and operated by Crispin Shea and Scott Pratt, who bring a combined 68 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
“We’re eager to bring Huey Magoo’s to Montgomery and introduce more guests to the fresh, made‑to‑order chicken tenders the brand is known for,” said franchisee Scott Pratt. “This is our third Huey Magoo’s, and we keep investing in the brand because of the quality of the food, the strength of the team and the loyalty of the guests.”

Huey Magoo’s menu features a wide range of customizable options, including:

The brand recently launched its Magoo’s Rewards™ loyalty program, giving members points for every purchase. New users receive a Buy One Get One Free 10‑piece Tender Bites meal with a beverage purchase, redeemable within 30 days. Members earn 10 points per dollar spent, with catering orders earning one point per dollar.
The Huey Magoo’s mobile app allows guests to order ahead, track rewards, and access exclusive offers.
