Target Cuts Prices on 3,000 Spring Items as Retailer Expands Value Strategy

MINNEAPOLIS, Min. - March 11, 2026 - Target Corporation announced Wednesday that it is lowering prices on more than 3,000 spring products, including apparel, home goods, baby essentials, and select food and beverage items, as part of a broad effort to deliver stronger value to customers heading into the new season.

The reductions, which range from 5% to 20% off original prices, reflect Target's ongoing strategy to pair trend‑forward design with affordability while driving long‑term, sustainable growth across its nearly 2,000 stores and online marketplace.

"Busy families are thinking about value as they begin to update their homes and wardrobes for spring," said Cara Sylvester, Target's executive vice president and chief merchandising officer. "We're delivering by lowering prices on 3,000 spring favorites across apparel, essentials and home. We're committed to making it easier than ever for guests to have the fresh style and incredible value they love, with lower prices on the items we know they want."

Lower Prices Across Key Spring Categories

The price cuts begin rolling out in March and will continue throughout the spring season. Target says the reductions will apply to some of its most popular seasonal and everyday items, including:

Apparel: Women's and children's clothing featuring spring trends and everyday comfort

Home: Bedding sets, blankets, sheets, and other easy seasonal refresh items

Shoes: Flats, sandals, sneakers, and other on‑trend footwear

Everyday Essentials: Baby products, household basics, and pantry staples

The company emphasized that the move is designed to help families stretch their budgets while still enjoying new seasonal styles and home updates.

Building on Last Year's Price Cuts

The spring reductions follow thousands of price decreases Target implemented in 2025, part of a broader effort to stay competitive in a value‑driven retail environment. The company says the new cuts build on its "already low everyday prices" and weekly promotions.

Shoppers can save even more through Target Circle, the retailer's free rewards program that offers exclusive discounts and personalized deals. Guests can join Target Circle online, through the Target app, or at checkout in stores.
