The 2026 election cycle is really heating up as the Republican primary is fast approaching. No race is hotter than the Republican battle for Lieutenant Governor. Patrick Bishop is one of seven candidates running for the Republican nomination. Bishop recently spokes to Brandon Moseley and Chrstopher Peeks on their Brandon and Christopher Show Podcast about the coming election, his career, why he became a Republican, and his platform which he says is built on common sense.
Bishop is a retired U.S. Army Major with extensive experience in special forces and the Airborne. He also has had an extensive law enforcement career that includes stints as a Parole office, a corrections officer, and a policeman. He currently is a deputy in Cullman County.
Bishop is a combat veteran whose first deployment was in Mogadishu, Somalia where he fought in the 'Black Hawk Down' battle.
The Republican primary is on May 19.
