Officers responded to the 2400 block of Snavely Avenue around 7:35 p.m. on June 6, where they found a woman lying unresponsive in a yard. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue transported her to UAB Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
