Biden's one word message to Iran: "Don't"

On Saturday, reporters asked President Joseph R. Biden (D) what is his message to Iran was. His one-word response was: "Don't."

This comes with the world increasingly on the edge of what could be the start of a major Middle East war.

Arguably Iran started this war back in October when it authorized and paid for a massive unprovoked attack on Israel by the terrorist group Hamas, killing many Israelis, and a number of American citizens, in their homes. Israel's response against Hamas and their allies in Gaza has been devastating. Much of Gaza City has been destroyed in the invasion that followed.

Iran at one point fired over two million missiles and drones at Israel. Most were intercepted by the Israelis and the U.S. Navy who combined to demonstrate Iran's comparative technological disadvantages win a modern war.

Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon have rained rockets and missiles down on Israel.

At one point in the war, Houthi rebels in Yemen (allied with Iran) fired numerous drones, missiles, rockets, and even remote-controlled speed boats full of explosives at an American aircraft carrier. The Houthis have targeted international shipping in the Red Sea. They have also fired long range missiles at Israel. The Houthis like Hamas and Hezbollah have been armed by Iran and are ostensibly under Tehran's command and control.

Iranian backed militias attacked American bases in Iraq and Syria with rockets and mortars. Three American soldiers were killed in those attacks leading to American air strikes against the militias and the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Two Americans were seriously wounded in Jordan when terrorists attacked the U.S. base there with a drone.

Last week Hezbollah fired a rocket at a soccer field in the Golan Heights killed 14 children and teens. Israel retaliated by launching an air strike on a building in Beirut killing a number of people including the military leader of Hezbollah. Within 24 hours an explosive detonated at an Iranian Revolutionary Guard facility for dignitaries in Tehran killing the political leader of Hamas. DNA analysis was released confirming that the military leader of Hamas was killed last month by the Israelis.

Tehran has vowed to seek revenge. U.S. naval forces have moved closer to Israel to support Israel if Iran launches a larger attack on the country.

On Friday, an Israeli air strike hit a former school that was being used as a shelter for displaced persons in Gaza. Gaza authorities claim that over 110 civilians were killed in the air strike.

"There have been far too many civilian casualties," said Vice President Kamala D. Harris to reporters after a recent campaign rally on Saturday.

On Sunda, an Israeli Defense Force spokesman said that "there is a high likelihood" that the commander of Islamic Jihad was at that shelter.

Iran is supported by Shiite militias in Iraq and Syria, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Houthis in Yemen an escalation by Iran could potentially lead to the United States getting drawn into another larger war in the Middle East – something that the Biden – Harris administration doesn't want – particularly before the election on November 5th.
