The Lies of Transgenderism - Ted Halley at Tuscaloosa's Eagle Forum

June 12, 2025 - TUSCALOOSA, AL - Ted H. Halley was the featured speaker at the Tuscaloosa Action Group of Eagle Forum of Alabama on this sunny Thursday afternoon. As a former "MTF Transgender", that is to say a male who transitioned to a female and lived as a transgender for 12 years under the name of "Teresa", Mr. Halley feels compelled to share his journey back from transgenderism. For his testimony is about exposing the transgender agenda for the primary purpose of "saving peoples' lives and bringing them to Jesus."

As Mr. Halley explains, if a person one knows has a cancerous sore on their forehead and they don't know it, one lets the person know about it so they can get the cancerous sore treated. It is because of his philosophy that "If I love you, I tell you the truth", that Mr. Halley is exposing the lies of the transgender movement, since he can speak on the matter from personal experience. For after Mr. Halley's children were all grown, he transitioned into a woman. He underwent gender affirming counseling for two years, took cross-sex hormones, underwent electrolysis to have his beard removed, had two facial feminization surgeries where they sawed off part of his chin bone and brought his hairline forward, and yes, he also had genital reassignment surgery. In fact, Mr. Halley states that he did everything you could do, including "cutting things off".

But, an epiphany in March of 2021, led to Mr. Halley realizing that the "pink fog" he was in, the term they use in transgenderism when men are transitioning into women, was not his true way of being. The social contagion he had bought into when becoming transgender was just that, a society induced delusion. A delusion that he realized was instigated by a post-Christian society in the West that has become afraid of telling the truth. The truth being that there are just two genders, male and female, and not "73 genders like ice cream".

With relativism being introduced into Western Society in 1923 by Crowley and the concept of "Do whatever makes you happy" and "Follow your heart" rather than following the teachings of Christ, one of the lies that the transgender movement propagates is "You're born in the wrong body" and it is medically safe to transition. A blatant falsehood, as Mr. Halley emphasizes. For there are no long term studies on the consequences of medically transitioning. All of the transgender surgeries right now are experimental. With the side effects of puberty blockers being irreversible. Yes, irreversible.

Even though, it has been several years since Mr. Halley took estradiol for estrogen hormones, he still gets hot flashes from having taken them for over a decade. Similarly, the effects of puberty-blockers thins the bones in the young, prevents their genitalia from fully developing, affects their endocrinology, and keeps the brains of the young from ever fully developing. For the human brain does not fully develop until the age of 25.

Another misrepresentation of the transgender movement that Mr. Halley reveals in his testimony is the notion that transgender surgeries help prevent suicides. In fact, the opposite is true. Suicide rates increase 1900% after gender affirming care. With Mr. Halley personally having had two friends from his transgender days commit suicide. For transgender surgery, no matter how comprehensive it may be, does not reach the root cause of transgenderism. Since "most trans-identified have a root cause in trauma". Mr. Halley traces back his own trauma to being when his daddy left his mama when he was four years of age. And the fact is that trauma has neurological effects on the body that trangender surgeries do not heal. That type of healing that can only be found in the healing power of Christ.

The social contagion of transgenderism is currently targeting the young, with the rate of transgenderism increasing in young girls by 5000% since 2014. And one of the big lies that transgenderism tells the young during their adolescent years, is that "If you don't fit in, you might be transgender". The opposite is true, as Mr. Halley points out. In fact, 87% of teens outgrow the desire to be transgender by the age of 20.

While mainstream media and culture likes to represent opposition to transgenderism as being something exclusive to out of touch right-wing conservative Christians, Mr. Halley points out that there are actually groups within the transgender movement itself who are opposed to transgenderism. Groups such as "Gays Against Groomers" and "Lesbians-United". For they, themselves, recognize the perils of the transgender movement.

Nevertheless, Mr. Halley provides hope for those struggling with transgenderism either personally or within their family. For love does not equate to permissiveness, but rather "Love is Truth". And Halley encourages those wishing to recover from the social contagion of transgenderism to get involved in 12 step groups such as "Awaken" in Alabama and "Celebrate Recovery". For the truth is that one of the things that leads to a person undergoing transgenderism is that "there is a hole in their soul". And that hole can only be filled by the true love of Christ. For parents, Halley highly recommends the Church Transgender Resource Guide from childparentrights.org/resources.
