Marshall has raised $391,318 from individual contributions. He also raised $15,000 from three PACs. Marshall reports $23,364 in total spending, with $13,364 going towards his campaign's operating expenses. Marshall's campaign emphasized that 87% of his donations came from Alabamians. Marshall is trying to position himself as a staunch ally of President Donald J. Trump (R) and a champion of the America First agenda. Marshall reports having $382,954 cash on hand at the end of June.

's political landscape heats up ahead of the 2026 election cycle, recent filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) offer a glimpse into the financial positioning of three prominent Republican figures: Steve Marshall, Jared Hudson, and Barry Moore. Marshall and Hudson are already

Steve Marshall – U.S. Senate Candidate

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall has officially launched his campaign for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Tommy Tuberville. His principal campaign committee, Steve Marshall for Senate, was registered on May 29, 2025. While detailed financial data is still being processed, the committee is actively filing quarterly reports and 24/48-hour disclosures. Marshall's campaign is expected to benefit from his established statewide network and prior electoral success.

Jared Hudson, a former Navy SEAL and Jefferson County sheriff candidate, announced his Senate bid on May 28, 2025. His campaign announcement was a surprise to most political insiders so his committee, Hudson for Alabama, had less than six weeks to raise money.

Jared Hudson raised $209,721.97 in June for his 2026 U.S. Senate campaign. The vast majority of his money came from individual donors. Hudson only spent $8,596.23 leaving his with $201,125.74 in cash on hand. The Hudson campaign emphasized that many contributions were from Alabama residents, aligning with his message of local accountability and conservative values. No PAC donations were reported in his first filing, distinguishing his early fundraising from Steve Marshall's, who received $15,000 from three PACs. Hudson's campaign messaging is focusing on faith, service, and outsider status, which may be resonating with small-dollar donors rather than institutional backers.

Barry Moore is the U.S. House Incumbent in congressional district one; but many political insiders believe that he will declare for the Senate.

Despite this Congressman Barry Moore's committee, Barry Moore for Congress, reported raising just $135,884.96 in the quarter and spending $78,718.04 in Q1 2025. The bulk of Moore's contributions came from individuals ($82,869.96) and other committees ($53,015.00). Moore ended the quarter with just $182,298.58 cash on hand.

Moore announced that he will make an announcement about his political future in Sylvania, Alabama in DeKalb County on August 15.

Incumbent Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) is running for Governor.

The Republican primary is on May 19, 2026.
