MORGAN COUNTY, Ala., Sept. 15 - The Alabama Farmers Federation has announced its endorsement of Rep. Scott Stadthagen for Alabama House District 9 in Morgan County.
"Rep. Scott Stadthagen is an outstanding leader for us in the House of Representatives and at home," said Mike Reeves president of the Morgan County Farmers Federation. "He shares our same work ethic and conservative values, so we are proud to support his candidacy."
Stadthagen received his B.S. degree from the University of West Alabama. He is a homebuilder and president of Hagen Homes, Inc., established in 2005. He serves as majority leader in the House of Representatives, having been elected by his peers in 2022.
Stadthagen has served his district in various civic and charitable positions including as chairman of the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce; member of the Hartselle Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, Morgan County Builders Association and Economic Development Group of Hartselle; and as a graduate of Leadership Hartselle. He was named in the Top 50 Under 50 by the American Legislative Exchange as an exceptional leader who represents conservative principles and values.
"I realize the importance of agriculture to our state, and I appreciate the hard work our farmers do, so I am honored to receive their endorsement again," said Stadthagen. "I look forward to continuing to work with them to make Morgan County an even better place to live, work and raise a family."
Stadthagen and his wife, Amy, have one daughter. They attend First Baptist Church of Hartselle.
The Alabama Farmers Federation is the state's largest farm organization with more than 365,000 member families. It uses a true grassroots approach to select candidates, relying on Alabama FarmPAC endorsements from county Farmers Federation boards of directors for local elections.
