September 17, 2025 - WASHINGTON, D.C.– The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) today announced that its Executive Committee voted to formally endorse Katherine Robertson for Alabama Attorney General.
Robertson is the only candidate in an open race for attorney general to earn this distinction in the 2026 election cycle and is one of less than 10 candidates in open seats over the past 27 years to be formally endorsed by RAGA.
Prior to the formal endorsement of the RAGA Executive Committee, a record number of AGs had already endorsed Robertson''s candidacy. These leaders know how effective Robertson has been in driving President Trump's agenda and how important it is to have Robertson in the foxhole as Alabama's next Attorney General.
"It is a very high standard for RAGA to endorse in a primary. Katherine Robertson exceeds that standard and has an impeccable track record of fighting for conservative values throughout her entire career," stated RAGA Chairman and Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach.
"Katherine Robertson is a fierce fighter for the America First movement and is dedicated to standing on Freedom's Front Line," stated Adam Piper, RAGA Executive Director.
Robertson has had an accomplished record as Chief Counsel to Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall:
led the fight against Biden's title IX redefinition and spearheaded efforts to protect women's privacy;
fought Biden vaccine mandates and asserted state sovereignty over health and safety;
built a coalition of conservative female legal leaders to support AG Bondi's confirmation;
crafted the national ability to implement and refocus the death penalty;
broke up the climate change cabal and amplified the ESG fight through a free market lens;
challenged DAGA's radical unrestricted abortion litmus test;
assisted successful SCOTUS wins with other state AGs;
fought for free speech and religious liberty on Alabama's college campuses;
crusaded against antisemitic sentiment; and
consistently championed President Trump's America First Agenda.
Robertson has been an exemplary attorney and member of the Alabama Attorney General's Office and comes from a long line of talented conservative Republican leaders. This is an important endorsement for RAGA considering the important role Alabama has had in the conservative legal movement and in RAGA's history. Bill Pryor is one of RAGA's founding fathers, and Steve Marshall was one of RAGA's most influential Chairmen in organization history. Robertson is uniquely qualified to follow Steve Marshall's legacy of leadership without hesitation on day one.
This extremely rare endorsement is the result of the trust Republican attorneys general have in Robertson and a testament to her character, integrity, and consistent, fearless, conservative leadership. RAGA is proud to endorse Katherine Robertson, holding full faith in her ability to hold this office and join the other 28 AGs who are defending the rule of law.
RAGA is the only political action committee in the United States dedicated to the election, re-election, and advancement of Republican Attorneys General.
