MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala., Nov. 7, 2025 - The Alabama Farmers Federation has announced its endorsement of Rep. Jeana Ross for House District 27 in Marshall County.
"Rep. Ross is an outstanding public servant who is conservative, accessible and diligent in her work," said John Bevel, president of the Marshall County Farmers Federation. "She realizes the importance of farming in this community and will serve as a strong voice for us in Montgomery."
Ross holds a Master of Arts in education leadership from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. A retired educator who served 26 years in public education, she was secretary of Alabama's Department of Early Childhood Education under two governors. "The farmers of this district are hard-working, concerned citizens, and I am honored to receive their endorsement," said Ross. "We both believe in conservative values and good government, and I look forward to continuing my work with them to accomplish both."
Ross and her husband, Carey, have two married sons and twin grandchildren.
The Alabama Farmers Federation is the state's largest farm organization with more than 360,000 member families. It uses a true grassroots approach to select candidates, relying on Alabama FarmPAC endorsements from county Farmers Federation boards of directors for local elections.
