Rodney Walker takes Senate campaign to Mar-a-Lago

December 16, 2025 – MONTGOMERY - Rodney Walker, candidate for the United States Senate, attended a formal black tie gala and participated in a high-level leadership roundtable at Mar-a-Lago in Florida on Monday night.

During the event, Walker joined prominent national figures and other leaders from across the country for a substantive discussion on leadership, public policy, economic strength, and the future direction of the United States.

The roundtable provided an opportunity for direct dialogue on the challenges facing working families, national security, and the role of effective leadership in Washington.

While attempting to build momentum in his Senate campaign, Walker is already engaging in serious conversations at the national level while remaining focused on the priorities of Alabamians, including economic opportunity, public safety, and protecting constitutional freedoms.

The evening concluded with a formal dinner featuring keynote speakers and continued discussion centered on national priorities and civic leadership. Walker attended alongside

friends and supporters, reflecting the growing network of relationships supporting his campaign.

"Alabama deserves a senator who is prepared to lead on day one," said Walker. "Engaging directly with national leaders and participating in serious policy discussions is an important part of ensuring Alabama has a strong, informed voice in Washington."

Walker is a businessman and cattleman.

"My name is Rodney Walker, and I'm a Republican businessman running for the United States Senate," said Walker at his campaign launch event. "I'm a husband, a father, a grandfather, and in 1982, I gave my life to Christ. I am not a career politician." "I'm running to continue and expand the MAGA agenda."

Walker promised that if elected he will:

"Introduce legislation to tariff imported prescription drugs in order to bring all pharmaceutical drug manufacturing back to the United States." "I will seek a position on the Senate Agriculture Committee where I can promote the American farm and timber products to new foreign markets in order to provide a long-term sustainable income for our farmers." "Introduce legislation and continue to protect the American food supply from being infiltrated with foreign beef, pork and vegetables from other countries."

Walker also promised that he would work to stop, "The purchase of our homeland to foreign adversaries like China and Russia."

Walker said that inflation has caused many hardworking Alabamians to no longer be able to afford to purchase a new home. Walker lamented that new cars now cost $50,000 or more and a truck can cost up to $100,000.

"I see the purchasing power of those paychecks dwindle away in real time while most of the Political Class plays the fiddle," said Walker., America is burning – the America we know and love is in grave danger unless we can put more back in the pockets of the hardworking people who get up everyday and make it happen."

Walker is also a helicopter pilot and reserve deputy.

Walker is facing a crowded field that includes Attorney General Steve Marshall, former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson, former Tuberville aide Morgan Murphy, and Congressman Barry Moore with more entrants still possible.

Incumbent Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) is giving up the Senate after just one term to run for Governor of Alabama in 2026. This seat has been previously held by Howell Heflin (D), Jeff Sessions (R), Luther Strange (R), and Doug Jones (D). Tuberville unseated Jones in a landslide in 2025. Jones is running for Governor as a Democrat.
