NRA-PVF Endorses Barry Moore for U.S. Senate in Alabama

Enterprise, Ala. - The National Rifle Association – Political Victory Fund (NRA‑PVF), the nation's largest pro‑Second Amendment advocacy organization, has formally endorsed Congressman Barry Moore in Alabama's race for the United States Senate.

In a letter released by the organization, NRA‑PVF leaders praised Moore for what they described as a consistent and reliable record of defending gun rights in Congress.

"On behalf of our millions of members around the country, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA‑PVF) is proud to endorse your candidacy for the United States Senate in Alabama," the letter states. The organization also thanked Moore for his "continued opposition to the Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries gun control agenda of banning lawfully owned firearms, ammunition, and magazines."

Record on Second Amendment Issues

The endorsement highlights several legislative actions Moore has supported during his time in Congress. According to the NRA‑PVF, Moore:

Cosponsored legislation to remove suppressors from the National Firearms Act, a move the group says would make the devices more accessible to law‑abiding gun owners.

Backed a bill to reduce federal taxes on suppressors and certain firearms, which the organization described as "the first major reduction of taxes imposed on NRA members and law‑abiding gun owners in decades."

Moore responded to the endorsement by reaffirming his commitment to gun rights.

"I'm proud to be the Second Amendment champion in this race and grateful for the NRA‑PVF's support," Moore said. "Our individual right to bear arms is non‑negotiable because our rights come from God, not the government. I will never waver on law‑abiding Alabamians' right to own, purchase, and carry firearms. In the Senate, I will continue to work to not just protect but expand this cornerstone of our freedom."
