Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin
In the first four parts of my investigation series on the corruption and misuse of funds from the administration of Birmingham mayor Randall Woodfin here is what I have laid out detailing alleged criminal activity from 100 plus documents I have from the Woodfin files. To see screenshots of the evidence please go back and review the first four articles.
Campaign Finance & Ethical Allegations: The series centers on documented evidence of multi-year campaign finance and ethical irregularities, focusing on the alleged misuse of public resources and city-linked PACs for personal political gain.
Misuse of City Assets: I have highlighted the reported exploitation of city labor and public resources, detailing how campaign finance reports have allegedly been used to obscure the true value of in-kind benefits provided by city vendors.
Regulatory Oversight Failure: A major theme is the failure of oversight, specifically pointing to the lack of response or inquiry from Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen and other established regulatory agencies regarding these patterns of misconduct.
Political Machine Infrastructure: My investigation analyzes the operational mechanics of the Woodfin administration, questioning the environment that allows such patterns to persist without formal investigation or intervention.
Despite the serious nature of these allegations and the extensive documentation supporting them, Mayor Woodfin has offered no official or substantive response. Instead, the administration has opted for a digital video presentation, which fails to address the specific evidence presented in this investigation.
Stay tuned. Much more to come.
